Rothesay has a very good selection of shops and local businesses. There are two supermarkets which open until late 7 days a week. We are also very lucky to have two excellent local butchers and two really good fishmongers.

The town has four banks, a Post Office and a very good variety of shops. In fact, everything you need to enjoy your holiday on the Isle of Bute.

There is also a great selection of cafes and restaurants in the town and around the Island.

Each of our Apartments has a list of local amenities and eating places with opening times etc. If you wish we can send you these details before your visit
